Michael Dingeldein, MD, FACS, FAAP, FCCM

Michael Dingelgein, MD, FACS, FAAP, FCCM

 

Michael Dingeldein is a pediatric surgeon at Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital where he has also served as the Trauma Director, Surgical Director of the PICU, and Surgical Director of ECLS for the past 8 years. He grew up here in northeast Ohio in Painesville. He did undergrad at University of Cincinnati, medical school at Ohio State, general surgery residency and critical care fellowship in Chicago and pediatric surgery fellowship at Oklahoma Children’s. He is an Associate Professor of Surgery at Case Western. Nationally he serves as the leader of the Trauma Domain for the EMSC Innovation and Improvement Center and leader of the trauma domain for the ASPR FEMA V for Kids national disaster center of excellence.
